Evolve, Inc. Announces Interactive Services Promotion
Promoted to Web Developer
Greenville, NC, March 14, 2007 – Following a year of growth and significant expansion of its business, Evolve, a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations company, announced today that Mike McDermott has been promoted to web developer.
As a web developer, Mike is involved in writing code to empower web sites with rich media and interactivity. His projects at Evolve have spanned across a wide variety of disciplines and applications - from creating Flash Video players to building functional e-commerce web sites.
Since joining Evolve, McDermott has written code for www.jennik.com,
www.eastcarolinajvc.org, www.mycarolinawealth.com and many more sites. He also has created a Flash video player for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce (www.greenvillenc.org).
McDermott graduated Magna Cum Laude from ECU in 2006 with a BA degree in Computer Science and a BS degree in Biology. In a web development world that is oftentimes convoluted, Mike's simple and straightforward approach enables Evolve to develop and deploy painfully complex web content both quickly and easily.
“To say that Mike is good is an understatement,” says Gary Polich, Evolve’s Creative Director. “His contribution to our Interactive Division has been huge. Whenever the design team thinks they have stumped, he surprises them by answering their challenge quickly and efficiently. He allows us to do what we think is best; to think outside of the box.”
