Greenville , NC, October 18, 2005 – Evolve, Inc., a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations company, announced today the appointment of Shari Tourlitis as media director for the company, effective immediately.

Tourlitis brings more than 17 years of experience in advertising and strategic marketing to Evolve, where she’ll oversee the agency’s media strategy, planning and buying. Tourlitis has both agency and client side backgrounds with organizations such as Chevy Chase Bank, Coca-Cola, Aether Systems, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Venable, XLHealth and Walden University.

Most recently, Tourlitis was a freelance media planner/buyer for ST Media and worked with several agencies and organizations throughout the Southeast. Prior to ST Media, Tourlitis was media director for Planit, a Baltimore-based integrated brand communications agency. At Planit, Tourlitis was responsible for planning and execution of media buys for several accounts, utilizing network television, national cable, print, trade publications and interactive media.
