Evolve, Inc. Announces Video Release for Pitt Community College
GREENVILLE, NC, October 1, 2007 — Evolve announced today the completion of its Pitt Community College (PCC) awareness video. The video will be used to educate viewers about the impact of PCC on the greater Greenville community’s workforce and businesses. The video also showcases the growing pains PCC is experiencing due to lack of space and student overflow.
The mission of PCC is to educate and empower people for success in life, in higher education, in the workforce and in a global economy. To ensure the PCC mission is carried out, more funding is needed for the college. The video was introduced during PCC’s annual convocation event on August 13.
The event unveiled a strategic plan that will serve as a guide for the college’s planning and budgeting through 2011.
“We wanted to create a visual work to show local citizens the positive impact that PCC has on Pitt County,” said Jane Power, Marketing Director of Pitt Community College. “Evolve provided us with a video with a clear message: we want to continue our positive influence in the community but are in need of more funding and facilities to do so.”
Evolve shot the film on the PCC campus and edited the film at their video studio. The filming took place in late July and post-production was completed mid-August. “Evolve, like many businesses in the area, benefit greatly from the work done at Pitt Community College,” said Will Daugherty, President and Owner of Evolve. “And telling this side of the story for PCC was a privilege for our team.”
