Evolve Inc. offers free Web hosting for nonprofits
Evolve Inc. a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations company, is offering free Web hosting to registered not-for-profit charitable organizations through the launch of Evolve Dedicated Web Hosting Solutions.
By offering not-for-profits free Web hosting, Evolve Dedicated hopes to save these charitable organizations money that can be used to help better the lives of the residents of North Carolina. The services are also designed to help these organizations become more efficient, the release said.
“As more people conduct their business online, it will be critical that organizations incorporate the Internet into their fundraising strategies, Will Daugherty, president and founder of Evolve, said in the news release. “Through Evolve Dedicated, our company is committed in assisting not-for-profit charitable organizations create and maintain an online presence that will help build stronger communities throughout eastern North Carolina.”
Among the features offered are more bandwidth and an easy-to-use control panel with numerous useful applications, the release said.
Organizations applying for free Web hosting have to submit a short application to ensure that they are a bona fide not-for-profit charitable organization serving an eastern North Carolina community.
Documentation, including proof of 501(c)(3) status, will be requested. If the organization does not have 501(c)(3) status, other documentation may be considered.
The organization must pass a screening process before it will be considered for a free account, according to the news release.
