Systems Administration

We are seeking an experienced systems administrator with a background in
Linux/Unix server administration and Cisco networking.

Duties will include:

• Creating and maintaining network and server policies &
  documentation
• Setup and maintenance of server hardware and software
• Periodic auditing of network and servers for security and
  functionality
• Implementation and testing of backups
• Creating and maintaining security policies for internal PCs and
  Macs
• Technical support for internal PCs, Macs, and printers
• Oversight of client hosting accounts
• Occasional technical support for clients
• Making recommendations to management concerning network and
  hosting
  
  The candidate should possess:
• At least 2 years experience with Linux/Unix server operating
  systems
• Familiarity with Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Postfix, Bind, and
  other common open-source server platforms
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS and TCP networking
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting
• Knowledge of information security fundamentals
• The willingness and ability to learn as much as possible
• A passion for the work

Pluses:

• Familiarity with Windows Server 2003
• Experience with writing SpamAssassin rules
• Knowledge of C, Perl, or PHP
• Familiarity with Active Directory
